Pat Bowcock Dip.Perm.Des.
Pat grew up in the Gloucestershire countryside, with a beautiful garden, an orchard, open fields, streams & ponds around her. The sound of a working mill wheel could be heard day and night.. Her love of growing things, trees, water, making fires and building shelters (which always leaked) started early. Over the last twenty years she has been saddened to see whole woodlands cut down and not replaced, and old hedgerows taken out to create fields for large machinery. This and many worldwide catastrophes alarmed her.
Klaudia van Gool Dip.Perm.Des
Klaudia has had an interest in growing things as long as she can remember and has incorporated Permaculture ideas for the last twenty, since accidentally picking up Bill Mollison's book in the library. She did the Sustainable Land Use and Permaculture Design Certificate at Ragmans Lane Farm with Patrick Whitefield in 2006.
She completed her Diploma in Permaculture Design in January 2009. She has a degree in Environmental Science from University of Plymouth and has worked advising and training businesses on environmental improvements. The last few years she has become increasingly interested in wild foods and primitive skills and the use of ceremony. Klaudia has a particular interest in the People Care aspect of permaculture.
Jan Mulreany Dip.Perm.Des
A founding member Trustee of Brighton Permaculture Trust, Jan has been involved since its creation in 2000. Her design and teaching skills are mainly in the "invisible structures" aspects of People Care and Fair Shares. Her garden, living spaces and allotment food growing have gone through many cycles of design, and her Zone 00 succession planning has led to a happy semi-retirement! Additionally, Jan is a Permaculture Association Registered Diploma Tutor and currently also a Trustee of the Association, focusing on accreditation and tutor training.
